The Internet of Things (IoT) technology has changed considerably thanks to the ubiquitous availability of wireless Internet technologies. The result is that network platforms are replacing stand alone vertical-specific solutions. Additionally, the benefits found in using the cloud to deliver solutions across international boundaries make it so that IoT solutions need not be carrier specific or geographically dependent. For all these reasons, we have seen the rise of platforms as a way to manage and deliver IoT solutions to a host of opportunities including transportation, buildings, logistics, telematics, medical, smart grid, cold chain and so on.
The Battle of the Platforms is intended to highlight these opportunities and to showcase how the migration to these new independent systems make it economically feasible for all markets to adopt IoT. Highlighting the adoption and adaptation of these platforms, we are looking at them from their impacting development and business intelligence for wholesale (carrier) and enterprise solutions.
The Battle of the Platforms will provide maximum branding and exposure for your platform. Participants receive extensive marketing before, during and after the event. Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their platform live to a panel of judges as well as an audience of conference attendees including end users.
