John Horn has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and wireless industries. Mr. Horn is recognized as an M2M/IoT pioneer and leader. Previously serving as President of RacoWireless, a leading provider of M2M connectivity solutions, John led the company to record growth and achievement of multiple awards for accomplishments, including â€˜Most Innovative Companyâ€™ and â€˜Entrepreneurial Company of the Yearâ€™. Prior to that position, John was a leader at T-Mobile for more than nine years. At T-Mobile, John developed and managed indirect distribution for the California Launch â€“ the largest launch in wireless history. During his last six years at T-Mobile, he focused specifically on developing T-Mobileâ€™s M2M program and go-to market strategy. He also helped T-Mobile earn recognition as the market leader for M2M services. Mr. Horn holds a B.A. in Political Science from UC-Davis.
Alex Brisbourne is CEO of KORE. He has more than 20 years of experience in the wireless, enterprise and fixed line networking and telecom industry. In his current role, he brings a uniquely qualified perspective from the front lines of applied machine-to-machine communications and embedded wireless. He speaks regularly at business and technology conferences and is frequently sourced as an expert on device communications in trade and business-oriented media. He sits on the Advisory Board of a number of technology companies in the USA and Canada.
Fred Yentz joined ILS Technology as senior vice president and chief operating officer in January 2007, bringing with him more than 20 years industry experience in the technology solution market. Prior to ILS Technology, Fred Yentz served as Vice President and General Manager of RadiSys Corporation, a leading provider of embedded solutions for the telecommunications, enterprise data, medical equipment and the industrial automation marketplaces. While at RadiSys Corporation, Fred served in many capacities including the oversight of World Wide Sales, Marketing, Professional Service, Business Development in addition to General Manager of Enterprise, Communication and Commercial operating divisions. Fred also worked for IBM where he held various positions with responsibility for Engineering, New Business Development and Management. Mr. Yentz is named as an inventor on two U.S. patents and has received IBMâ€™s First Level Plateau Invention Achievement Award. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), National Science and Technology Education Program (NSTEP), and is chairman of the Industry Advisory Board for Florida Atlantic Universitys College of Engineering. Mr. Yentz holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University (1988), a Master of Business Administration (1996) from the University of Miami, and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems (1997) from the University of Miami.
Doug Wilson is a Verizon Wireless Internet of Things Specialist serving as an IoT subject matter expert, charged with growing IoT partnerships with new and emerging IoT companies and ensuring successful Internet of Things solution implementations. In his role he has successfully brought several new IoT solutions to market through the partnerships with Verizon. Doug has had a successful career with Verizon as an M2M Regional Sales Specialist, Data Sales Account Manager and Data Sales Engineer for Verizon Wireless. Prior to that Doug worked for Verizon Business on the Regional Sales Engineering Team as a Network Equipment Sales Specialist. Doug has had an extensive career in technical sales and engineering with numerous enterprise class organizations such as Belkin, Microsemi, Avaya, and NEC. Doug started off his career by serving our country in the US Air Force as a Communications Specialist where he achieved the Management and Outstanding Team Chief awards.
Director of Product Management & Business Development, Systech Corporation
Robert Lutz is the director of product management and business development at Systech Corporation. This business provides modular IoT/M2M gateways and services for a variety of markets. Previously, Mr. Lutz was a product director at LSI, responsible for DPI network security devices. Mr. Lutz has also held engineering, product management, and marketing positions at Iomega, Hifn, and National Semiconductor. Mr. Lutz has presented at various conferences and technical seminars, directed marketing activities for the Storage Network Industry Association (SNIA), and participated in technical standards activities for IEEE and ANSI. Mr. Lutz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
