Introductions: Industrial Controls At the Heart of Industry 4.0
IIOT-01
Chair, Smart Factory Task Group Industrial Internet Consortium
When it comes to the Industrial Internet the essentials are about managing and monitoring production. At the heart of this management are processors that are designed to manage repetitive actions. This session looks at how Industry 4.0 is looking to revolutionize production.

The Broad Picture on Industrial Controls
IIOT-02
President and CEO Wibu-Systems USA
Taking a broader view of Industrial Controls we discover that their processing capabilities and coding is designed to be simple and not to be communicative of all but the essentials of production. Many companies are augmenting these systems with sensors to improve the business processes and gather real – time information. This session looks at how IIoT is expanding the knowledge of production.

Industrial IoT and the Arts
IIOT-03
Instructor Miami Dade College Idea Center
It’s amazing how small and useful IoT devices have become. In the Fashion industry the use of IoT spans the production of materials to the actual garments available today. Everything from Internet posts to LEDs embedded in the materials will be on display in the fashion show later today. This session is about the impact of IoT on Fashion.

Bridging the OT/IT Gap With A Real-Time IIoT Gateway
IIOT-04
Sr. Mgr. Industrial Automation Segment Renesas Electronics
Managing Production is the focus of Operations, reporting on production is the focus of IT. The result is that one looks at the means to the end while the other looks at the end result. This often materializes in a failure to communicate effectively. How does IoT enable better understanding between the departments to improve production, planning and profit?

Analytics in Action
IIOT-05
Founder and CEO Sirqul Director of Business Development at Advanced RF Technologies ADRF
It’s one thing to gather “Big Data”, it’s another thing entirely to determine how to find the relevant data and put it to action. This session is about how analytics can bring insight and measurable improvement when using IoT to gather, deliver and execute.

GE’s Digital Twins and Immortal Machines
IIOT-06
Digital models of any object can seemingly live forever, but question we’re asking at GE is can those digital models, or Digital Twins, enable their physical selves to live forever? Can we meld service and design into a single process that allows us to transform jet engines, power generation turbines and more into immortal machines? This is the essence of the digital journey GE is on in the Aviation and Power industries, as we digitize our industrial assets and connect them from the Edge-to-the-Cloud. Digitization, along with GE’s technology leadership in additive manufacturing, is creating a new paradigm in how we operate and service our machines. Colin will discuss what the significant business outcomes this journey already has yielded and the ultimate path to machine immortality.

More About Industrial Analytics
IIOT-07
CEO PROLIM
Within the factory, assets and inventory can be tracked with sensors, allowing for better accountability and product management. From there, industrial IoT allows the business to look at almost all components of the operation–from employees to forklifts–as assets that can provide opportunities for revenue growth if managed correctly. Using intelligence as part of the product development IoT model can also have an impact on development of processes, changing how products are innovated and built.

IoT, Machines & AI
IIOT-08
President Aizoon Senior Vice President Strategy, Business Development & Government Relations Schneider Electric
This session will focus on two separate real life cases of Predictive Maintenance. In both cases we enabled industrial customers to improve the technical availability of their machines and robots. The presentation will detail steps and issues resolved in developing the Data Lake and the required Machine Learning algorithms that enable corrections and improvements to industrial controls. By combining traditional Engineering approach (FMEA, RCM and Kaizen) with the Machine Learning approach (full data set analytics and multivariate correlation analysis) a Digital Twin is developed. This impact the specific manufacturing process that is way more reliable and predictable than what could be done in the past just with the Engineering approach. As these approaches continue to develop AI becomes a reality.
