Kris Alexander

Kris Alexander is the Chief Strategist focused on Connected Devices and Gaming at Akamai Technologies Inc. He is currently responsible for Akamai's strategy for connected consumer electronics, and gaming and interactive entertainment software. Kris joined Akamai in 1994 as the Senior Product Manager who created and launched the Akamai Media Delivery Solution. He advanced to become Product Line Director, where he developed multiple strategies and managed many teams to successfully launch many new solutions and products including the Akamai HD Network with HD for Flash, HD for iPhone/iPad, HD for Silverlight, and Media Analytics, and Akamai Electronic Software Delivery Solution. He worked closely with many businesses over the years as partners and customers of Akamai, including Apple, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Nokia, Blizzard, EA, Viacom, and Fox.

Prior to Akamai, Kris held several positions with Genuity (formerly BBN Networks) including Director of Marketing and Strategy and Product Manager. He also worked as an independent Marketing and Business Consultant focused on business strategy and products across of range of businesses including Parker Guitars, Turbine Games, WarCry Network, NaviSite, and Lahey Clinic. In 1999, he founded an independent record label, Empire Underwater Records in Boston which promoted and released music of local artists nationally.

Kris has spoken at multiple industry conferences such as CES, E3, GDC, Cebit, and Digital Hollywood, on topics such as Interactive Entertainment, Gaming, Digital Media, and Connected Devices.

He holds a BSE in Computer Engineering and BSBA in Marketing from Northeastern University and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College.

Dr. Zulfikar Ramzan

Dr. Zulfikar Ramzan serves as the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for leading the development of RSA's technology strategy and bringing to market the innovations that help protect RSA customers from the growing number of advanced threats.

Prior to joining RSA, Dr. Ramzan served as Chief Technology Officer of Elastica and, preceding that, as Chief Scientist of Sourcefire (acquired by Cisco in October 2013). Before joining Sourcefire via its acquisition of Immunet in 2010, he was Technical Director of Symantec's Security Technology and Response division.

He has co-authored over 50 technical articles, and two books including Crimeware: Understanding New Attacks and Defenses, Addison-Wesley Professional, 2008. He also has over 50 granted patents. Dr. Ramzan was selected and served as General Chair of Crypto 2010, the premier conference in the field of Cryptography, Dr. Ramzan has a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics from Cornell and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. His doctoral advisor was Professor Ronald L. Rivest, who co-founded RSA Data Security.

George Mulhern

Stephen Mellor is the Chief Technical Officer for the Industrial Internet Consortium, where he directs the standards requirements and technology & security priorities for the Industrial Internet. In that role, he coordinates the activities of the several engineering, architecture, security and testbed working groups and teams. He also co-chairs both the Definitions, Taxonomy and Reference Architecture workgroup and the Use Cases workgroup for the NIST CPS PWG (National Institute for Standards and Technology Cyberphysical System Public Working Group).He is a well-known technology consultant on methods for the construction of real-time and embedded systems, a signatory to the Agile Manifesto, and adjunct professor at the Australian National University in Canberra, ACT, Australia. Stephen is the author of Structured Development for Real-Time Systems, Object Lifecycles, Executable UML, and MDA Distilled.Until recently, he was Chief Scientist of the Embedded Software Division at Mentor Graphics, and founder and past president of Project Technology, Inc., before its acquisition. He participated in multiple UML/modeling-related activities at the Object Management Group (OMG), and was a member of the OMG Architecture Board, which is the final technical gateway for all OMG standards. Stephen was the Chairman of the Advisory Board to IEEE Software for ten years and a two-time Guest Editor of the magazine, most recently for an issue on Model-Driven Development. During her twenty plus career, she had a leading role in growing the Northeast Area channel distribution. She led the alternative distribution market, vertical marketing strategy and the core data products. As an experienced product marketer, she managed Global and Push to Talk for the Northeast Area. During her management, the Northeast Area was number one in sales for Global and Push to Talk for Verizon Wireless.

Among other achievements in that role, he led Google's advocacy on open Internet, broadband deployment, and spectrum policy. Rick also guided the Company's participation in the 700 MHz spectrum auction, involvement in TV White Spaces spectrum allocations, and launch of Google Fiber.Prior to joining Google, Rick founded and headed NetsEdge Consulting, a public policy consulting firm that provided legal analysis, regulatory strategy, and advocacy counsel to Web companies.
